To Vermilion And Back
We recently traveled to Vermilion, Ohio to visit Season’s grandparents. It takes about 8 hours to get there from Philadelphia and which made this Claire’s longest trip. Needless to say, we were a bit concerned about how she’d do.
We’re happy to say that CLaire is a great traveler. She slept for about 4 hours. For most of the ride, Claire looked something like this:
In both directions, when we were about an hour from our destination, Claire got close to her breaking point. That made three of us. We hope she does this well on the plane to Seattle.
It was great to visit with family. Season’s grandparents took us to a cute orchard and then took us out to lunch. Here they are at the orchard:

Our next big trip is a weeklong jaunt to Berks County where Season and I grew up and our family still lives. After that, it’s off to Seattle.
