Family Update
Wow, it’s been a while since I last posted anything and the feeling of guilt was increasing so.. here goes.
We bought a car a few weeks ago. We got a 2007 Jetta:
This car seemed like a good tradeoff between price, comfort, and reliability. Season likes the heated seats.
I’m still adjusting to my new work life. It’s been a serious adjustment but everybody is patient and I’m slowly getting the hang of things. There is a ton to learn.
Our apartment is finally starting to seem like home. We still have some junk we’re trying to get rid of but it seems mostly like home. We can even kind of see Mt Rainier from our porch on clear days:
That picture kind of makes it look like we live among a sea of wires… It’s not really that bad ;-)
We all went to the farmer’s market in Ballard today. It was cute and there were a lot of street musicians and people selling local stuff:
I’m sure we’ll be back soon.
Claire seems to have adjusted really well to the new area. She and Seas will be going to some play groups soon and there are lots of local activities that are kid-friendly nearby.
I’m trying to make my first loaf of bread and I think it’s time to knead some dough. I’ll try to keep this blog updated..
